Sports

players derive a lot of pleasure by playing games. It also inculcates the
quality of team spirit in them. The students learn the qualities of leadership

This
student-oriented program wouldnt be complete without the coordination,
commitment, and enthusiasm shown by everyone. The collective intake of the
audience and the outburst of cheers were amongst the best feelings one could
ever hope to experience on such a day. It seemed that the students were
thoroughly enjoying themselves. Everyone had a role to play. The whole day was
amazingly harmonized with students stepping out to cheer their classmates and
friends. No one stood in the center of the field on that day; one would be
startled with the activity and regular cheers erupting from different corners
of the field. Crowd-managers and faculties were all doing their jobs
flawlessly.
Once
again this year, the youth of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies,
Akurdi had performed tremendously well. We affirm our faith in learning through
this sports meet. Organizing various events helps us to reaffirm our team
spirit and cooperation thus providing an experiential learning platform to our
students.
