| Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies is the first management institute under University of Pune which has a NSS unit. We started with 50 volunteers in the year 2009 - 10. University of Pune subsequently approved our proposal to increase the unit strength to 100 volunteers in the year 2010 - 11. Prof. Vinay B. Nandre is working as the NSS Program Officer. [For regular activities, Institute received a grant of Rs 21,000/- (Rs 210/- per volunteer * 100 volunteers) and spent total Rs 25,195/-. For Special Camp, Institute received grant of Rs. 29,500/- (Rs. 590/- per volunteer * 50 volunteers) from the University and spent total Rs. 49,856/-]
