During its Community Development Program, students and staff give a helping hand to organize various programs on a long term basis such as:

• Development of Computer Lab

The Institute donated 2 computers and helped in setting up the computer lab at Nachiket Balagram at Akurdi, Pradhikaran.

• Computer Training

The Institute took the initiative to start a ‘computer course for beginners’ for students of 5th standard of Nachiket Balagram.



• Performing Arts and Drama Class

The Institute took the initiative to start Performing arts and Drama classes for all students of Nachiket Balagram on the request of Nachiket Balagram Management.



• Sports Activity

To inculcate the habit of exercise and develop healthy physique the Institute planned many activities for inmates of Balagram such as cricket match organized on 16-07-2009. Donated education kit to 26 participants as incentive.



• Children Day Celebration

Institute celebrated Children Day with Nachiket Balagram children and distributed Fruits, Sweets, Cloths, Shoes. Staff members of DYPIMS also donated Rs. 8700/-.



• Tree Plantation

The institute knows the importance of tree plantation. Every year on the occasion of Republic day (26 January) and Independence day (15 August), tree plantation drive is undertaken.



• Traffic Awareness & Road Safety

Pune is the one of the cities where maximum accidents take place every day. To sensitize the students, institute organizes every year one Traffic Awareness and Road Safety program with the help of Traffic department.



• Blood Donation Camp

The institute conducts Blood donation camp every year. For the academic year 2009-2010, the blood donation camp was conducted on 25th Jan. 2010.
