National Board of Accreditation (NBA)
The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India was initially established by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) under section 10(u) of AICTE act, in the year 1994, for periodic evaluations of technical institutions & programs basis according to specified norms and standards as recommended by AICTE council.
NBA in its present form came into existence as an autonomous body with effect from 7th January 2010, with the objective of Assurance of Quality and Relevance of Education, especially of the programs in professional and technical disciplines, i.e., Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality, through the mechanism of accreditation of programs offered by technical institutions.
NBA has introduced a new process, parameters and criteria for accreditation. These are in line with the best international practices and oriented to assess the outcomes of the programme.
MBA program of DYPIMS is accredited up to 30th June 2024 by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi (NBA). Previously the MBA program was also accredited by NBA for the period of 2012 to 2015. The Institute was also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade for the period of 2015 to 2020.
While granting the status of accreditation the expert committee of NBA has appreciated visionary leadership, committed, and experienced faculty members, satisfied stakeholders, good reputation in Savitribai Phule Pune University and implementation of outcome-based education system.
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) conducts assessment and accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) such as colleges, universities, or other recognized institutions to derive an understanding of the ‘Quality Status’ of the institution. NAAC evaluates the institutions for its conformance to the standards of quality in terms of its performance related to the educational processes and outcomes, curriculum coverage, teaching-learning processes, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organization, governance, financial well-being and student services.
The Institute was accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade for the period of 2015 to 2020.
