BOARD ROOM
A fully air conditioned board room with a seating capacity of 31 is available to conduct meetings. It is equipped with a multimedia enabled PC and LCD projector and sound system.
AUDITORIUM
The Institute has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200. It is equipped with a multimedia PC, LCD projector and sound system.
ABOUT SEMINAR HALL
The Institute has an air-conditioned seminar hall with a seating capacity of 100. It is equipped with a multimedia PC, LCD projector, and sound system.
CLASS ROOMS
The Institute has six classrooms. All classrooms have a multimedia enabled PC with internet connectivity and are equipped with LCD projectors and a sound system. Two classrooms are air-conditioned. Most classrooms have been designed to allow adequate sunlight and ventilation and utilize as much of natural light as possible.
COMPUTER LAB
The institute has 4 air-conditioned computer labs with a total of 120 PCs. All PCs are connected to a central server via LAN.
LIBRARY
The Institute has a well-stacked library with 10,013 books. A separate IT zone has been created in the reading hall with 7 multimedia PC’s having internet access to provide easy access to e-resources. OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) is integrated with the library automation software E-Granthalay. The library has an institutional membership with MCCIA and British Library for resource sharing. Open online resources from NPTEL and INFLIBNET are also used. A reprography machine is also available in the library.
READING HALL
An air-conditioned reading hall in the library provides seating space for 100 users. A separate IT zone has been created in the reading hall with 7 multimedia PC’s having internet access to provide easy access to e-resources.
HOSTEL
Separate hostels for boys and girls are available with the Institute. Facilities like common room, television, Wi-Fi internet, solar water heaters etc. are available for the students who take accommodation.
BOYS/GIRLS COMMON ROOM
Separate common rooms for boys and girls are available in the Institute. Students use the boys and girls common rooms for indoor games and also to plan and prepare for cultural activities.
CANTEEN
A well-ventilated canteen is housed within the Institute. The canteen has seating a capacity for 150 students. The canteen provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner to the students at concessional rates. Proper cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the canteen at all times. A TV is also provided as a recreational facility
ORGANIC GARDEN
A kitchen garden has been specially developed in the Institute to grow fresh, organic vegetables. The vegetables are used by the pantry in the Institute’s office. The Institute has a vermi-composting pit to turn wet garbage into organic manure which is used for gardening within the campus.
FIRST AID & SICK ROOM FACILITY
The Institute has a sick room with a bed and first-aid box. First-aid boxes are also available on each floor of the Institute building.
