He is presently working as Assistant Professor in DYPIMS. Has an extensive experience of 14+ years in teaching and in corporate sector. Dr. Seema Zagade heads the Accommodation Department of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune. She holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management, is a certified teachers trainer from Cambridge University. She has made a significant contribution in the field of Hospitality, especially towards higher education policy and practices.

He is a Gold Medalist in Masters of Science in Hotel and Tourism Management and has completed his PhD in Human Resources from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune in July 2018. He has published more than 26 research papers in National & International Journals. His research paper titled “An analytical study on factors influencing attrition and measures for curbing with special emphasis on retention of Associate level employees in hotels of Pune city” has been awarded with the best Research Paper Award in a National Conference in 2018.

With a passion for Bakery and Confectionery, he entered the International Hospitality Arena, as a Chef in Pastry Section with P&O Cruises (U.K), this international exposure has enhanced his knowledge and skills, making him a Chef par excellence.He is teaching in Hotel Management fraternity since 2002 and has worked as faculty Food Production (Bakery and Confectionery) with Kohinoor – IMI School of Hospitality Management Khandala.He is been associated with AISSMS College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology since 2008.

Having graduated from IHM Goa, she started her career with Holiday Inn, Pune. She went on to be an F & B Executive in a span of 4 years in Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai. She joined the education field in the year 2002 and is part of AISSMS CHMCT since then. She is also beverage enthusiast learner. Her expertise involves conducting courses and workshops in table and restaurant etiquettes for various organizations in the corporate sector.
