The DYPIMS library is a central library located on the heart of the main building and is spread over the area of 180.79 Sq. Mt. with a seating capacity of 100 students. The DYPIMS Learning Resource Center is set up comprises of circulation center, stacking area, newspaper section, General knowledge section, research and reference room, librarians cubicle, reprographic section journal and periodical section, CD section, luggage counter and a spacious reading hall. The library is safe, comfortable, well lighted, and clean with adequate and appropriate seating capacity. The library is automated with E-Granthalaya and is updated to a Barcode version. The Library has LAN and an internet facility. The library is open from 8 am to 8pm except holidays. We have a suggestion box in the library.

The DYPIMS library is a true Learning Resource center, which strives hard to provide the latest literature. The library has a good collection of management and computer books, journals of academic nature and news magazine, CDs and multimedia, research and reference tools, e-resources and institutional repositories. In addition to this, the library staff continuously strives to encourage students to maximize their use of these learning resources by organizing Book Review competitions, library sessions and visit to other external libraries. The library also organizes book exhibition to make the students aware of the latest books available in the market. Authors day and Book launch Program are also organized to provide a platform to the authors to showcase their books and also to make the students interact with some of the renowned authors about their books. The encouragement from higher authorities, in house collaboration and users demand is helping the library to fulfill its aim and is taking the DYPIMS library to the pedestal of ICT.

IT Zone

The institute library is equipped with 7 multimedia PCs in a separate space designated as IT Zone. It is accessible to all users 24/7. Students are this for doing research work by the help of J-Gate, ProQuest, Shodhganga, Open Access Theses and Dissertations; OAPEN Library; Open knowledge Repository etc. Students locate books in the library with the help of mahan link e-Granthalaya in addition to this, they use IT Zone for their project worth, class assignments and self-learning also.

Book Bank Scheme

The Book Bank Scheme is introduced in our institute to selective economically backward and SC/ST category students. This book bank will provide one set of textbooks for the semester.

Under this book, bank scheme one set of books for the syllabus shall be issued to a group of two students.

• Books issued under this scheme shall be returned to the library at the end of each semester examination.
• Those candidates who would like to avail this scheme shall apply to the director in a prescribed format which is available with the Librarian.
• Issue of books is at the sole discretion of the institute.
• Institute reserve the right to amend the policy
