DYPIMS’ Managing Director (Operations) Mr Bharat Chavan Patil, Director Dr Ashutosh Misal, and SAMViT Management Consultant’s Pushkar Kulkarni visited Baku Engineering University (BEU), Absheron, Baku, Azerbaijan, East Europe from 8th December to 12th December 2019. DYPIMS and BEU have signed an Academic MoU for collaborative activities. MoU aims at joint research projects, joint activities to promote research commercialization and enterpreneurship, exchange and professional training of students, academic, and administrative staff, organizing joint international conferences and forums and so forth. Bharat Sir & Dr Ashutosh Sir had a meeting with authorities of BEU Rector Mammadov Havar Amir oglu, Vice-Rector for International affairs Assoc. Prof. Manafaddin Namazov, Head of International Relations and Project Management Department Prof. Arif Najimov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Mayis Azizov, Deputy Dean Farid Jabiyev, and Head of Finance Department Fuzuli Aliyev. Bharat Sir & Dr Ashutosh Sir were taken to Campus Tour to engineering laboratories, technopark, and foreign languages departments of BEU and Baku City Tour later. Dr Ashutosh Misal delivered a session on “Time management” for BEU students.
Memorandum of Understanding between DYPIMS and International Mind Education Institute (IMEI), South Korea was signed.
As per the MOU, Dr. Kim Jae Hong, President of IMEI addressed the students during National Conference 2016. He shared valuable thoughts on the South Korean business environment. From January 2019, IMEI faculty members are teaching Korean language to FY MBA students. DYPIMS, Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA) and International Mind Education Institute (IMEI) jointly conducted the ‘International Mind Education’ seminar on 16th October 2015 at PUMBA auditorium. Mr. Bharat Chavan Patil, MD (Ops.), DYPIMS, Dr. Vijay Khare, Director (International Centre , SPPU), Dr. J. G. Patil, Dean, (DYPIMS), Mr. Hanif Somji (Entrepreneur), Mr. Seo Min Woo, Director (IYF, Pune) and Mr. Rajesh Misal, Branch Head (IYF, Pune) were some of the dignitaries present at the seminar. Around 150 faculty and corporate members from all over Maharashtra attended the seminar. Six (6) students of South Korea came to India through DYPIMS and IMEI MOU. These students were in India for more than 8 months in the academic year 2015- 16 and participated in Institute’s curricular and extracurricular activities.
MoU with Berjaya TVT College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is signed on 19th August 2019. Authorities signed MoU were Mr Kanendran T Arulrajah, President, Berjaya TVT College, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Dr Ashutosh Misal, Director, DYPIMS.
